IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR JIS MARCH

JIS has been in close contact with the Miami Beach Mayor’s Office, Miami Beach Police Department, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and other local officials. We are happy to announce that we will open as planned on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 10:00AM at the Miami Beach Convention Center. All have assured us these temporary restrictions should not impact our attendee or exhibitor’s ability to reach the venue.

The entire GMCVB will be working with the JIS team to provide continuous updates as they become available and we are confident that with the City of Miami Beach’s leadership the event will be a success.” Said Rolando Aedo, Chief Operating Officer of the GMCVB.  

IMPORTANT TRANSPORTATION NOTE:  Brand new for this year, you will have access to the parking garage on the roof of the venue and as usual there will be valet provided by the Miami Beach Convention Center, making parking for the show easier than ever.

JIS is still happening as scheduled. See below for show dates and times:

Monday, March 22 | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Tuesday, March 23 | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Wednesday, March 24 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

For the first time this year, parking is available directly at the Miami Beach Convention Center on their new roof top lot. Valet parking is also available on a first-come, first-served basis for $30 at the front of the show.  

At this time, businesses located in the relatively small part of the Art Deco district from 5th Street to 16th Street and on Ocean Dr, Washington Avenue, and Collins Ave must be closed starting at 8pm. If you had restaurant reservations in this small area, we would encourage you to determine if your plans would be impacted due to the closures and if so, make alternate dining plans at one of the many other fantastic options in Miami Beach.

At this time, the road closures commence at 9:00 pm until 6:00 am, well after the show ends! Only those who are guests in a Miami Beach Hotel, working in the Miami Beach Area or are local residents will be permitted to access Miami Beach via the highway after 9pm as of today. (Impacted highways include: Eastbound lanes on I-395 and I-195. Eastbound lanes on the Venetian Causeway shall be completely CLOSED to traffic from 9:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m., except to City residents.)
