Buyer Qualifications and Credentialing

If this is your first time attending or your company has changed, we request that you provide the below information.

If you have been approved to attend a JIS Show within the past two (2) years, you will be automatically approved.

• JIS Shows are for the Active Jewelry Trade Only*
• With your cooperation, they will remain as such.
• Buyers must be Active Retailers of Jewelry or Wholesalers of Finished Jewelry.
• Wholesalers of finished jewelry must pre-register AT LEAST 30 DAYS before each show. Manufacturers and Loose Stone Dealers will not be admitted as Buyers. Your firm must be an active Retailer or Wholesaler of finished Jewelry, not loose stones.
• NO CHILDREN UNDER 14 YEARS OF AGE
•  NO CAMERAS

Please supply the following information for reconsideration:

• Copy of your business license or sales tax certificate
• Proof of employment (professionally printed business card or official company letterhead)
• Invoices: Copies of itemized invoices from two (2) different suppliers of finished jewelry or jewelry related to products within the past year for a total of $10,000 or currently listed with the JBT as a Retailer or Wholesaler of finished jewelry.

Please provide a copy of the following document for EACH attendee:

• Business Card: Professionally printed Business card(s) showing each person's name and their affiliation with the registering company above. (computer printed business cards will not be accepted).

• Business Documents: Business License, professional business card, etc. 

• Invoices:  Invoices with a combined total of $10,000 in purchases of finished Jewelry within the past year or listed in JBT as a Pawnbroker or active retailer/retailer wholesaler. If you are unable to provide invoices that show buying Jewelry at wholesale levels, we need to verify the existence of retail Jewelry sales that take place at the pawn shop in question. This could entail photos of the store showing the jewelry section, purchase receipt for a safe, purchase receipt of showcases.

• Proof of Employment for EACH Employee: Professionally printed business card or official Company letterhead

• Your firm's State/Country Sales Tax Resale Number
• Government Issued Identification such as Driver's License or Passport.
• Government Issued Photo identification is required to obtain or validate your badge at the show and enter the show floor. Please bring your photo identification with you to the show.
• Receipt of JIS Literature or an Exhibitor invitation does not constitute admission unless the above Buyer Credential requirements are completely satisfied.
