Health & Safety Information & Requirements
We’ve taken proactive steps and implemented guidelines and requirements based on current CDC Guidelines, local public health guidance and the input of our venue partners to help support a safe and comfortable experience. Our team is constantly reviewing the JIS Spring requirements. Please check this page often for the most up-to-date information.
Please read below for more details on our requirements, what you can expect at JIS Spring and important public resources.
DAILY HEALTH MONITORING
All participants are asked to review and confirm they are able to comply with the Health & Safety Acknowledgement prior to entering JIS Spring, including ensuring that they are not currently experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19. Anyone who is not feeling well or begins to experience symptoms at any time during JIS Spring should contact and follow the guidance of their physician. No one is permitted entry to JIS Spring who is not in full compliance with the health & safety requirements and the Health & Safety Acknowledgement.
INCREASED SANITIZATION AND HYGIENE
JIS has worked closely with The Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) to implement cleaning and sanitization standards that meet or exceed the recommendations of the CDC. It is the responsibility of everyone to maintain personal hygiene, including washing your hands frequently. The MBCC Commitment can be found here.
FOLLOW ALL SIGNAGE AND DIRECTION FROM STAFF
Please adhere to all signage and direction from all staff, including our Safety Ambassadors. We have adjusted our layout and implemented exhibitor recommendations with the wellbeing of our guests in mind. Operational adjustments may occur throughout the event.
COMPLY WITH THE CODE OF CONDUCT
Please be aware of and respect the personal boundaries of your fellow participants so that everyone can enjoy their time at JIS Spring.
FACE COVERINGS RECOMMENDED
In accordance with public health guidance, we recommend, but do not require, that participants wear a face covering while attending JIS Spring. We encourage our participants to be up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccinations and ask that anyone who is not up-to-date wear a face covering.
Please Note: The protocols contained on this website are based on information currently available regarding the behavior and characteristics of the COVID-19 virus, public health information and local or state guidelines with respect to large gatherings in any particular community. As more clarity with respect to these variables emerges, it is expected that these guidelines may need to be adjusted accordingly.
Health and Safety Acknowledgement
Please be advised that the risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any event or public space, including JIS Spring. Please ensure you have read and follow our Health and Safety Acknowledgement linked below and review the CDC Guidelines for Prevention. By attending JIS Spring, you acknowledge this inherent risk. Thank you for your cooperation, and we hope you enjoy the show!
