The JIS Show Team wants to make it as simple as possible to network and do business at our events, so we are partnering with Konduko for our upcoming shows. How does it work? All JIS attendees are given a smart badge that they’ll use to scan on your exhibitor booth reader to receive more information about your company. At the end of the show, you will have access to the contact information of every attendee who scanned their badge on your reader. Attendees receive an email at the end of each show day with all the exhibitor information they collected throughout the day, as well as recommendations based on their activity during the show and where they scanned their badge. Acquiring leads and staying in contact post-show has never been easier!

Prior to the show, you will receive an email from Konduko to activate your account. Once you activate your account with the proper credentials, you will then be able to upload your company content and contact details.

The Konduko reader will be placed at your booth for attendees to interact with. They may choose to scan your reader themselves, or you can encourage them to do so. When an attendee scans their badge on your reader, you receive their contact information. All JIS attendees receive an email at the end of the each show day recapping all of the exhibitors they visited. The information they receive in that email is the information you provide when setting up your Konduko account. The reader is great way to generate as many leads as possible.

The Konduko StandApp is only accessible to exhibitors. You can use the app to scan the badge of the attendee you are having a conversation with, but note: the attendee will not receive any information about your company. You can then download this data along with any notes you add in the app. The app is great for attendee qualification because you will have already had a conversation with them and from speaking with them, you know what information they want to receive from you after the event.

Every exhibitor booth reservation comes with 1 Konduko reader at no additional cost. To purchase additional Konduko readers, please contact your JIS sales representative.

The Konduko Reader has its own cellular connection. The StandApp needs a Wi-Fi or cellular connection on your phone or tablet in order to collect leads, but can be used in offline mode without a connection. Please visit the Konduko Services Desk in the lobby if you need help with any device to use the StandApp. To access your Konduko account, you will need a laptop or computer with internet connection.

You can view and download your leads at any point during and after the show by logging into your Konduko account.

To gather the most leads from interested buyers, we suggest you place the reader at about chest height, somewhere within easy reach of attendees, such as a wall or tabletop. That way if your sales team is busy, an attendee can easily give you their contact information and collect your company information. If you want to control who has access to your information, we suggest you place the reader somewhere in your booth that is visible but out of their reach so attendees must request to scan their badge on your reader.

There will be a dedicated Konduko desk in the registration area onsite. Once you have picked up your exhibitor badge, visit the Konduko desk to collect your reader and complete the Konduko Smart Event Reader Sign-Out Form.

Attendees want to collect a digital brochure from you with product information and your contact details, so you can upload any information you would like attendees to receive when they scan your reader. Simply upload generic company information, or upload more detailed information about specific products you’d like to promote. This can include:

  • Company name
  • Product name(s)
  • Description – 1,000 characters
  • Links to social media and video
  • 3 files/images – 5mb each
  • Contact details
  • Link to website
