What is it?

The JIS Matchmaking Program is designed to benefit both exhibitors and buyers. The goal is to connect exhibitors who sell a specific product category and/or price point with buyers that are looking for that product/price point; creating a successful, efficient, effective show experience for all show participants.

How it Works!

When a buyer registers for the show, they select product interests − telling us what they are interested in sourcing or buying at the show and the desired price point(s). Immediately, when their registration is completed and approved, the buyer starts receiving Exhibitor Recommendations matching them with exhibitors that carry the products they said they were interested in. Recommendations are presented to buyers from the time they register through even after the show is over! These recommendations are not sponsored in any way and are based purely on common product interests.

The Exhibitor Recommendations Program is a part of each Booth Package!

Once you become a JIS show exhibitor, you will be asked to complete the Recommendations Questionnaire in your Exhibitor Dashboard. This is the same place you will need to update your Directory Listing (so it’s extra convenient…and easy). The sooner you complete the Recommendations Questionnaire the more time we have to match (promote) your company to buyers. Without completing the Recommendations Questionnaire, your company will NOT be included in Exhibitor Recommendations.  JIS delivers Exhibitor Recommendations to buyers in the months prior to the event and at the event through:

  • Attendee Registration
  • Personalized Emails
  • My Show Planning Tool
  • At the JIS Matchmaking Booths (at the show)

Tips & Tricks

The earlier you complete your Recommendations Questionnaire, the more chances your company has of being recommended to prospective buyers.

The Recommendations Questionnaire is in the same portal that you need to update your Show Directory listing information, so complete both items at one time.

Select only the products and price points your company offers for the best buyer matches.
