Venue Change Update (September 21, 2017) – The JIS Team has been informed that the Miami Beach Convention Center is not available to host the 2017 JIS Miami October Show due to Hurricane Irma’s impact and the construction status of the Miami Beach Convention Center. We already have space secured at the nearby Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center (1950 Eisenhower Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316) only 30miles north of Miami Beach and the show will STILL take place on the SAME dates, Sunday, October 8 – Wednesday, October 11. As we continue preparing for the JIS October Show in Ft. Lauderdale, JIS is now an official partner of the Jewelers Disaster Relief Fund, created to help jewelers recover who have been affected by recent natural disasters. Jewelers International Showcase is relocating to the Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center, just 30 miles north of Miami Beach. Ft. Lauderdale is famous for its beaches, arts, culture, events, and shopping on Las Olas Boulevard. The location is a perfect choice for leisure, tourism, and international business. The South Florida climate produces one of the warmest winters in the United States, and offers visitors pristine beaches with water temperatures ranging from 75 F in winter to 86 F in the summer/fall months. The endless places to stay, things to do, events to attend, and things to see in Ft. Lauderdale are all only minutes away from the Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center – making your upcoming trip to Ft. Lauderdale and JIS October a true “business meets pleasure” event.

Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center

Parking Onsite at the Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center

The Greater Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center parking is conveniently connected to the Northport Parking Garage with covered, air conditioned skywalks. Northport Parking Garage is well-illuminated and security patrolled.

Handicap Accessibility

Each parking deck has reserved disabled parking spaces near the elevator. Handicap vehicles with Florida Turnpike Exemption decal, or specialized equipment (ramps, lift, hand or foot controls) will not be charged.
