JIS Retailer of the Year Award 2017

JIS Retailer of the Year

Honoring the Best in Jewelry Retail

The JIS Retailer of the Year Award was created to recognize the most impressive and notable retailers representing Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States. Retailers are nominated for the award by members of the jewelry community. For 2017, we will celebrate the Best in Jewelry Retail and what makes a store stand-out in today's market.

Congratulations to Ballerina Jewelers on being named the 2016 JIS Retailer of the Year. A special thanks to everyone who voted and our other finalists, Imperial Jewelers and Blue Marlin Jewelry.

How it Works

There are now two ways to submit nominations. Retailers can nominate themselves or they can be nominated by members of the JIS exhibiting community.

If you would like to nominate a retailer, please fill out the nomination form »

If you are a retailer and would like to nominate yourself, please fill out the application form »

Whether you self-nominate or are nominated – in order to be considered for the Top 5, Retailers must complete the 2017 Retailer of the Year Award application. Once submitted, our panel of industry experts will review all submissions and determine the Top 5 finalists. Prior to the JIS Show, we will inform you if you have been selected as one of the Top 5 finalists.

Throughout the first 3 days of JIS October, we will ask the JIS community to vote, of the Top 5 finalists, who they feel best represents the Best in Jewelry Retail. Voting opens at the Retailer of the Year Kick Off event on Sunday, October 8 at 10:00 AM and closes on Tuesday, October 10 at 12:00 PM.

The winner will be announced live on the JIS Show Floor, Sunday October 10 at 4:00 PM at the Retailer of the Year Award Ceremony.

Deadline to complete your submission is October 1, 2017.
